About Marcy Richardson
I am a trauma informed Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC #3314) in British Columbia. I also have a background as a Registered Nurse, which gives me a deep understanding of how care and compassion supports a journey of healing.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: our humanity is our greatest strength. It is where we connect, heal, and transform. I know what it is to suffer alone. My own journey through silenced pain has informed the therapeutic work I offer today.
I create a space of warmth, wonder, and welcome—a place where hard truths can be spoken, deep feelings felt, and difficult experiences seen. Through open, honest exchange, we meet the moment together, without judgment or rush. I believe trust, honesty, and genuine human connection lead to deeper freedom, clarity, and understanding.
My work is rooted in a profound trust in the human heart. The same heart that holds our deepest wounds also holds our capacity for grace, courage, and healing. When people experience true connection, they discover they are not alone. Genuine, safe connection is what the nervous system knows as home.
My hope is not just that you feel better. My hope is that you come to know safety in your humanity. That you develop deeper trust in yourself, in life, and in your ability to meet whatever arises. And that, over time, you find your way home to yourself and your life as it is in every moment.
